THE OBJECTIVE
My team's main challenge was to imagine how Snail Games can adapt in futures where gaming is no longer just for fun but a means of survival, sustainability, and identity. Success was measured by identifying strategies that balance player trust, innovation, and real-world ecological impact.

THE PROCESS
1
We began with an intensive case study on Snail Inc. itself, looking for areas of improvement within their existing business model. The study included business model canvasing, SWOT analysis, and bullseye analysis.

2
This led us to phase two, where we focused on their lack of sustainable intention, as we designed a future scenario in which MMO gaming has a direct positive influence on an individual's carbon footprint.

We used AI image generators to mock up what our future world would look like: One where individuals are reliant on gaming to connect them to others and rebuild the real environment around them

THE RESULT
This project was a huge success in terms of team work and communication as we worked together to create new, exciting ideas for the conceptualized future of Snail inc. Additionally, it taught my a lot about the gaming industry and reinforced the idea that games are centered around community building - maybe we should be playing more of them.
